If we are unable to handle your complaint, we will try to refer you to another agency which may be able to help you. Some complaints, however, are best resolved in a court of law. Here are some of the types of complaints we don’t accept:
•Complaints involving a business whose primary location is not in Broward County
Federal Trade Commission
•Business-to-Business matters
Florida Division of Consumer Services 
•Small claims cases (up to $5,000)
Broward County Clerk of the Courts
•Landlord/Tenant disputes
Broward County Clerk of the Courts
•Hotel and restaurant complaints
Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants
•Interstate moves of household goods
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
•Intrastate (within Florida) moves of household goods which do not end in Broward County
Florida Division of Consumer Services
•Contractors licensed by the state of Florida
