Are smoking vehicles illegal?
Yes. Any car, bus or truck that generates smoke continuously from the exhaust pipe(s) for more than five seconds is in violation of the Broward County Code, Chapter 27, Section 27-175(j)(1). You can report a smoking vehicle here, or you can call 954-519-1499.
