What can I do to remove immature mosquito habitats from my property?

Mosquito Control
Survey your property on a weekly basis to look for potential mosquito habitats, specifically items which can hold standing water such as buckets, flower pots, tires, toys, pet feeding bowls etc. Empty or remove these containers. For containers that cannot be emptied or removed (i.e. rain barrels, rain gutters, birdbaths, pools etc.), treat the water with larviciding products available at your local retailer, home improvement store, or online. Be sure to follow the instructions on the manufacturer’s label. To keep mosquitoes from entering your home, consider putting screens on all windows and keep all windows and doors shut while using air conditioning.
